WORK IN PROGRESS – ARTICLE IN DEVELOPMENT

This guide is is currently in development, and the current version may not reflect its final form. The steps and instructions reflected in this guide are accurate to the best of our knowledge but may be subject to change as final adjustments and audits are made to this article.

This article talks about the different ways in which we proactively monitor your website, as well as the steps that we take internally when handling site issues or broader system problems.

Our team takes several steps to ensure that our systems are running well, and that hosted assets within our infrastructure are responding as expected. As such, we implement a number of different monitoring systems to check different levels of service for different subsets of our services.

Client Asset Monitoring

  • Latency & Response Time Tracking
  • Uptime Status & HTTP Response Tracking
  • SSL Validation & HTTPS Redirect Checking
  • Backup Status Monitoring & Automatic Validation

For each of these monitors, our team is proactively notified of abnormal behavior, and an internal ticket is created to immediately investigate this issue. If the incident lasts for longer than 5 minutes, or if any action from the client is required, we escalate this ticket to the client and notify them of the issue via email.

Infrastructure Monitoring

  • Latency & Response Time Tracking
  • Uptime Status & HTTP Response Tracking
  • SSL Validation & HTTPS Redirect Checking
  • Hosting node performance monitoring
  • Proxy Validation & Cache Testing
  • Backup Status Monitoring & Automatic Validation
  • Access auditing and monitoring

In the scenario that a service degrades or experiences an outage, our team creates an internal incident to track everything going on with this particular issue. As soon as we have an understanding of what is going on, we will post updates to our status page (https://status.fallstech.group) with the details of the incident, the severity and scope of the incident, as well as provide you the ability to subscribe to updates about the incident if you wish to receive notifications.
